Manju Warrier puts her signature back on the wall, in BOLD. What a comeback!! And what a film by Rosshan Andrrews!! How Old Are You is a beautiful, inspiring and uplifting film written and made with a lot of heart and passion. Salutes to Bobby - Sanjay & Rosshan Andrrews! And Manju Warrier proves to be the living example of the theme of the movie through her performance. 15 years of being away hasnt done any damage to her acting potential. What a performer! Kunchacko Boban. has shown great courage by taking up such an unusual character for a leading star and we get to see a completely different side of his acting potential here, which is excellent. Each and every member of the supporting cast is excellent - Sethulakshmi, Kalaranjini, Kunjan chettan, Vinay Forrt, Muthumani, Thesnykhan and Kanihaa, all have beautifully etched out roles and have their own individual moments of glory in the film. Brilliantly shot by Diwakaran Raghunathan, smoothly cut by Mahesh Narayanan and with a terrific background score by Gopi Sunder that creates the right kind of emotions in you at all the right places. Congratulations to Listin Stephen for picking up and producing yet another movie to be remembered for a long time. Ravi Mathew, RJ Shaan, Arju Benn and all others in the crew, congrats to you guys as well! :) Men, please take all the women dear to you for this film. Women, this is your film, take all the men whom you want to watch this, and go.. What are you waiting for?? PS - The obvious comparisons would be with English Vinglish and Queen because these kind of movies are a genre in itself and these two are the only films made in this mould so far in our country. Yes, it is thematically similar, but How Old Are You definitely holds its own as a superb screenplay translated on to the screen by a mightily talented director.
