Manny pacman Pacquiao is a congressman, national hero, national treasure, and an icon of sports in the world, a man who gaves a lot of honor in our country, is facing an absolute harassment by the BIR. You cant treat him like that because pacman is no ordinary citizen. The problem here is about the itr (income tax return) that manny pacman has failed to submit the original copy or the certification of IRS from US. In the part of cong. manny, he already submitted his income tax to the BIR its just that, it was not the original copy of the IRS, because the IRS of USA is not giving any original copy with regards to the ITR, but you have to understand all the proofs saying or showing that manny has already payed the tax in USA has already been submitted years ago, he even showed it in the media saying that he has all the documents showing his ITR. however, the BIR still insists that they need the original copy of the IRS, and since manny has not complied the orig certificate, they freeze or garnish all his accounts (i dont believe that only two accounts were frozen because if that so, this issue will not go beyond at this point) including his mansion car etc. in my point of view, this is a very nonsense issue, because all the proofs were given to her (mrs henares) if she has a doubt about these documents, why this lady from the BIR didnt ask her counterpart in the US for such a certificate. manny is not even an amereican citizen, and you mrs henares the representative of the sovereign government of the Philippines, and the IRS is the agency of the sovereign nation of the United States of America the two governments should have corresponded with each other to get the certificate, instead of putting the burden on the individual to get the certificate from the country, which he isn’t even a citizen of. She put the burden on manny. And you have to understand also that if manny really didnt gave the exact amount of his taxes in the US, how can he able to come and go there repeatedly if thats the case, knowing that their govment (USA) is much more far compared to us! for me, i see this as another political issue because cong. manny already gave support to our vice Press Binay for presidency. naunsa naman ning pilipinas oy. p.s press Aquino says many should stop the media war atubagon nalang daw ang BIR dli daw sa media. sus ang nag salita UTRO pud baya sige rag pa pogi sa media.
