Many Christians worry and wonder about what to believe and how to know if it is really true or not and how they can know the difference between truth and error. I can tell you that God has fairly simple instructions about how to do just that. So if you are a seeker of God`s truth it is best to be properly prepared to be able to discern it and receive it. Psa 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Yahweh says that good understanding comes to those who are obedient to His commandments. By this truth it can also be known that the reverse is then also true. Those who reject or ignore His commandments will be easily misled or receive poor understanding when it comes to His truths. The paradox is that, because all scripture is inspired by God, those who argue against the need to be obedient to the commandments are arguing against proper understanding itself and are found to be working(although most unknowingly) against the Spirit of God. Satan is crafty that way and does not want you to have understanding, thus the purpose of leading men to defy God`s commandments. God says through the Apostle John that answers to our prayers are determined by obedience to His commandments as well. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we “keep His commandments”, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. Rebelling against or ignoring commandments is in no way pleasing to God`s sight. Another reason Satan leads mankind to defy God`s commandments is that he does not want your prayers to be answered and what better way for the enemy to keep us from having good understanding and diminish the effectiveness of our prayers than to convince mankind that God`s commandments are abolished. It`s not rocket science folks. It`s the art of deception and Satan is the master deceiver. Follow God`s instructions and you will overcome the devil in all areas. You see, when we desire to become obedient to all of Gods commandments, it (obedience) begins to close all open doors to darkness. Paul says in Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Paul says that it is through faith that the law is established in our lives. It is through faith in Christ that God`s laws are written on our hearts and in our minds. Are laws established by breaking them? No. Laws are established by being kept. Paul is saying that, through faith in Christ we are able to establish obedience to God`s law in our lives and be delivered from sin and the enslavement that sin brings. Something nobody has ever done by their own power. That is why salvation must come as a gift from God just as faith is a gift from God. Praise God and thank Him always in the name of Yahshua, amen.
