Many call Jesus their God and Savior, but not all acknowledge Him as their Lord! A savior saves and protects! A savior delivers from all evil! A savior destroys the works of the enemy and does not allow those whom He protects to be destroyed! A savior is like a rescuer, a hero, an undefeated champion! We cheer for the Savior! We boast about what the savior has done! We even rejoice and praise the name of Jesus for delivering us out of all of our troubles! BUT, when have we allowed Jesus, that same savior we boast and rejoice over to be our Lord? What does it mean to allow Jesus to be our Lord? Well, when we allow Jesus to be Lord over our lives, we are willing to humble ourselves before Him in everything! We learn to allow Jesus to lead and guide our steps! As Lord, we turn away from the things that He hates and submit ourselves unto Him according to His Word! We forsake living our own lives on our own terms and plans to accept the will and plans of God! When Jesus is really Lord in our lives, there is no question that we no longer serve the devil and follow the lusts of our flesh, but all of this we surrender all! Lord means to give Jesus full control and not allow emotions and strong will to make us fight against the will of God! When Jesus is allowed to be Lord over us, everything about us changes to look more like Him! We are led by His Spirit and not by flesh! When Jesus is Lord, we cant defile His temple, our bodies with all kinds of sinful, wicked things! When Jesus is Lord we are not like the world, nor do we compromise with the ways and systems of the world! When Jesus is Lord over our lives, we will walk in love with all for love covers a multitude of sins! When Jesus is Lord in our lives, its not hard to forgive others because we know that it took Jesuss suffering, crucifixion, and death to forgive us of all of our sins! When Jesus is Lord in our lives, we will stop judging those who fall and pray as Jesus prays that the enemy does not sift us as wheat! When Jesus is Lord in our lives, we will walk in the mercy and compassion of God knowing that we too can fall short of His glory and we too were once hell bound in our sins, but Jesus came by and called us by name to save our souls! Let Jesus be Lord in our lives, obey His word, repent and turn back to Jesus with our whole heart, mind, and soul! Let Jesus be Lord and decrease with all of our anointing and titles that He may increase! Let Jesus be glorified in every good work and flesh bow down to the true and living God! When cant make it to Heaven, except we receive Jesus as LORD and Savior!!! If Jesus is truly LORD in our lives than every decision and move we make should be Jesus inspired and guided! We are not our own, but we belong to Jesus! Let it not be said, Depart from me ye workers of iniquity I know you not! Yes He saved our lives many times and delivered us from many things, but why have we not accepted Jesus as our Lord?!! If He is not LORD in our lives then we have given that title, authority, and position to satan! We will serve The Lord Jesus with our bodies, heart, mind, and works! How will Jesus know who we are if we dont even acknowledge Him, here on earth, as our Lord! If we be ashamed of Him on earth, He shall be ashamed of us in Heaven and will not speak on our behalf to His Father!!! Jesus reigns forever and ever!!
