Many church goers tend to label me and other non-church goers for - TopicsExpress

Many church goers tend to label me and other non-church goers for not seeking for nor desiring to join another church organization. Many speculate various reasons without having any true clue as to what we have experienced or learned during our process. It took me leaving my former church home to finally see the fullness of who Jesus truly is. Most of what Ive learned about Jesus Christ in church were false. We were taught information that mainly focused on increased dependency on the pastor and the organization itself. Though red flags appeared, for years, I never received the full truth from ANY of these pastors. My former pastor, Christopher Abernathy of Columbus, Georgia (already exposed in this group), always gave answers to blow over a conversation but never gave solid answers to things vital to my spiritual growth. It wasnt until I left that the most vital things I needed to know and speak concerning Christ (which are found in Scripture) would have shaken his foundation, making him powerless and reveal him to his followers as a true novice of Scripture. Mostly, the things that keep churches up and running are lies told and taught on the very God that they claim to serve. Most church organizations are built on these lies, and EVERY church Ive attended had these things in common. Once I learned these things, my desire to be a part of one ceased. I cant speak for all non-church goers, but that IS MY choice. The non-church goers Ive encountered, including myself, became most knowledgeable of who God truly is BY Him, via the Holy Spirit, AFTER our exits.
