Many have asked as to why Leslie Mitchell wasnt able to donate a kidney to Hunter so I wanted to take a minute to answer that. Leslie was in a fact a match and in very good health and received a clean bill of health, however because Leslie is Hunters primary caretaker UAB didnt want both Leslie and Hunter to be down at the same time. Even though UAB knew that I would be there before, during, and after the surgery to take care of both of them they still felt it was best for Eric to be the donor. We trust UABs decision and know they are doing everything in Hunters best interest. Thank you for everyones continued support and prayers!
