Many, many of you have reach out to ask how you can physically get out there to help. We have searched and re-searched many, many of the trails and hangouts around the Boone area. There has been an outpouring of support from the community, as well as friends and family who have come to Boone to aid in the search for Anna. We have also put up flyers all along the highways from her hometown to campus and back, on several different routes. Volunteers from all over NC have reached out and offers to get the word out by sending emails, texts, facebook posts, hanging flyers, etc. We are very grateful to each and every one of you! One thing we know about Anna is that she loves the outdoors. That is why we have concentrated so much on the trails and paths and all around the parkway. However, we have found nothing. Mountain to Sea trail, that extends from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks stopping at many of North Carolina’s most beautiful places along the way. Although we dont have a specific indication that this is where Anna may be, mothers intuition has prompted us to ask for your help along this trail. If you are familiar, live close to, or would be able to come to a location along the trail to look, please let the us know.
