Many many people to thank for what weve been able to do in Tlauihoteltepec, Oaxaca the past two days. I spent the morning playing music with Vladimir Medina and a group of students. We studied Billy Martins Stridulations book and played an out arrangement I drew up of Outkasts Hey Ya, everyone eager, grateful, curious. I left behind a load of books, two basses, a guitar, amplifier, books on ways to use these things, improvisation classes and was able to connect with something very real that happens here at CECAM. Tomorrow comes the full documentary of our time working together, a bunch of music we recorded, and a lot of different ways to see the good your help is doing at patreon/toddclouser. It extends far beyond music into empowerment, growth, empathy, humanity, though we all knew that.
