Many moons ago, i was filming back stage at a Pavarotti & Friends concert in Italy when we all got word that the Dalai Lama had arrived as he was going to make a special appearance on stage with with the Big Man himself. Huge commotion as his Holiness made his way to the stage surrounded by thirty or forty journalists and hangers on all wanting to touch him. With my camera I muscled my way to the front, my lens almost touching his nose as we all squeezed through a tiny doorway. Security men in a panic, everyone pushing and shouting, italian organisation at its best. It was a ridiculous situation. In the frenzy, he looked over at me and laughed and then out of the blue he reached down and tickled my stomach...
