Many of Gods people are attempting to find a fulfillment that they are not experiencing on the inside through outward things. For example there are many believers who constantly dream of getting away from people rather then reaching them, with the love of God that resides within their heart. (Rom. 5:5) While there are certainly times in which we all need a break, it is vitally important to understand that our Fathers desire is for US to reach people, NOT recoil and retreat from them. As the child of God realizes the righteousness, peace, and joy that they HAVE and CAN EXPERIENCE through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, they will begin to walk in the nourishment that results from doing His will, which involves (you guessed it), people.(Romans 14:17,18; John 4:34) The love of Christ experienced on the inside will compel us from the backwoods to the back tables as we sit with and minister to hurting humanity in what I call the smoking sections of life. (2 Cor. 5:14) He or she that hath ears, LET them hear.
