Many of my friends asked me to tell them something about my school. Here is something about that- The Sylhet Government Pilot High School, is a high school in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest schools in the country, having been founded in 1836. Its situated in Kalighat area in Sylhet.it has been awarded as the best school of Bangladesh . Many students of this school subsequently graduated from oxford university,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka and SUST. Ex-students of this school are Syed Mujtaba Ali (Writer), M. A. G. Osmani (Army Chief), M Saifur Rahman (Financialist), National Professor Brigadier Dr. Abdul Malik (Heart Specialist), Shah A M S Kibria (Politician), Humayun Rashid Choudhury (Parliament Speaker), Khalilur Rahman (Actor), Shuvro Dev (Singer), Abul Maal Abdul Muhith (Politician) and Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran (Mayor of Sylhet) , Amit Beekrom( NASA).
