Many of the anti-police crowd does not understand this is how quickly it happens and the amount of time between the first observation of a weapon and first suspect shot is milliseconds. This suspect had no criminal history nor previous encounters with the police. Welcome to the police world. Some even question the ability of the police to insist one stays in their vehicle during a traffic stop let alone whether the officer should have had his gun out and pointed at the suspect. It was what saved this officers life.
