Many of us with Westies (West Highland White Terriers) are well familiar with the evils of big-brand dry dog foods, often made in China under unregulated quality standards. Westies develop allergies quickly leading to skin issues, and sadly, the skin issues cause more than a few families to dump their loyal dogs in shelters...when a simple change in diet would solve the problem and keep a beloved pet in the family where it belongs.
