Many of you by now have heard the heartbreaking news that the two NYPD officers who were viciously shot earlier today in Bed-Sty were killed in the line of duty. This is an unimaginable tragedy for our city, the entire NYPD, and the families of these fallen heroes. Please keep their friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers in the wake of this incredible loss. Now more than ever, the brave men and women of New Yorks finest need and deserve our support. Rest in peace.
