Many of you keep asking how places like the one Rody came from looks like in Poland. I was wondering for a long time if its ok to tell you, but now I think it is necessary to spread the word, so you can all understand why we took him here, even if theres so many homeless dog in Ireland anyway. Municipalties have a duty to take care of homeless and straying animals, to supply them food and care. Most of them do their job very well. But because municipalties are paying money to places called shelters, there is also few people who have decided to make money on it. They took as many dogs as they can (as every dog is a payment for catching him, keeping him and of course monthly donation from council for food etc.), and here their care ends. If papers are ok, there is no suspicious that something is wrong there. So called grey zone. Foundations and volunteer run rescues are fighting with them all their lives, but its a hard battle, that takes a lot of money and time, however these good-hearted people, over the years are changing polish animal welfare for good, and are providing better future for animals.
