Many of you know that I was raised as an only child due to there being a 19-year difference between me and my brother Carl who left home for the U.S. Army. I learned to adopt and have other brothers and sisters by other mothers in the village. I met Tim Curry in the mid-seventies and we have been brothers every since. We have been with each other through the good, bad, happy, sad and trying seasons of each other’s life. Tim has a singing range that goes beyond the stars!!!!! He is an amazing musician who writes all genres of songs, plays just about every instrument there is on earth but has a heart of gold immeasurable like his endowment from God. I am asking the community to pray for him as he publically announced this past Sunday that he has been diagnosis with stage 4-pancreatic cancer. He is in a good spiritual mind and told me “brother I trust in God”. He does not want anybody to feel sorry for him, just pray his health and strengthen in the Lord. There will be a musical in honor of Tim Curry “Celebrating The Gift” this Saturday, January 17, 2015, 6pm at Wesley United Methodist Church 1164 San Bernard Street Austin, TX 78702. The Tim Curry Trio and other groups and singers Tim is affiliated with will be on program. Just like it doesn’t take long to do wrong, it should not take long to do right!!!
