Many of you know the frustrations Ive been dealing with over the past years from a work standpoint. Being somewhere day in and out where you dont feel like youre making a difference or are respected is one of the greatest struggles Ive faced. It put a lot of strain on me personally and to the detriment of my family in many instances. Jenn and I are happy to announce that I was recently selected into the very competitive active duty National Guard program. This has been my professional endeavor for many years now and where I feel I truly belong. The military provides great purpose and direction for me, and I was truly humbled to be asked to join the ranks of a group of people I hold in such high respect. I would not be where I am today without the hard work and support of the great Soldiers, NCOs and fellow officers Ive been fortunate enough to cross paths with over the past 10 years. This is a life changing moment for Jenn, Jackson and me, and we are forever grateful for the unyielding prayers and support of our family and friends. Thank you all so much. We will soon be moving to Austin and will leave behind great memories of Katy, but we look forward to and eagerly await what the future holds.
