Many of you may know that my four year old brother has recently been diagnosed with the long life condition, diabetes type one. This life changing condition means that he has to have five injections everyday and be very careful with his sugar intake. As we all know Easter is approaching and most of us will be eating lots of Easter eggs how ever children with diabetes, just like my brother will have to be very careful and cant eat too much chocolate otherwise they can be very poorly. This is why my Mum and myself have decided that for the whole of April we will be donating 50% of the money from our jewellery business to a diabetes charity to help find a cure for the life long condition. As well as donating 50% of the money we make during April we are also going to be holding an event hopefully at a childrens Playcentre to raise more money for the diabetes charity. We hope to inform people about the condition as well as having lots of stalls and a fun filled day for children. More information will be posted soon about the event :)
