Many people ask me how do I see the EU, (the revived Roman Empire) fit into Daniel vision and, Christ’s warning about the last stage of world empires which would be 10 kings giving the Antichrist all their power. One thing that could happen is that the EU which is also facing huge economic problems could break down into a group of 10 nations as a result of bad economics. I say this is possible because of what Daneil tells us in Daniel 2: 41-43 where we see this last days empire will not hold together. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
