Many people ask me why I show dogs. I never have enough time, or a time where all my thoughts are gathered to answer the question worth a thousand words. Today, my thoughts gathered all into one piece or peace as I was letting out my sweet dogs this morning. Jumping on me with enthusiasm, excited to be living with a fresh feeling and cold water in their buckets. Their souls reach my heart everyday. I couldnt live without my dogs. I couldnt choose anything over them. My dogs and I are a team. We have a set game plan, and they know what to do with it. No other sport or hobby could do what they do for me. To be a dog handler is something I am destined for. The way that it happened, I will never forget. The people I have to thank for bringing me into something that I didnt know I had such a huge love & respect for, you know who you are. I will never stop learning how to handle dogs. I love to show dogs because there is always room for improvement, always something to look forward to. The dogs always keep my hopes high, and keep me wondering what they will do next; from chewing up the new expensive collar they hate, to being a top ranking dog in the country. The time, blood, sweat & tears that go into breeding, and training the dogs to being in the intense show ring with phenomenal competition. Oh, so much to love. So much to say. I could go on & on. Im passionate about my dogs, as well as lots of others. I cried when Shannalee Waller-Michalsky Akadia Shelties Panda won BIS, and also the first time I seen Debbie Sirdofskys little Loot out as a puppy at the Spokane specialties in 13. They are both what inspire me to keep on doing what I do, I will never give up. ❤️ Dog handling, and loving dogs, forever & always.
