Many people come to us for welding, and we often enough have to weld cast iron or cast aluminum. While we can do this without a doubt, we always issue one warning: there is a 50/50 chance of success. There are many steps to be taken in order to weld anything cast properly. The following pictures are of a cast aluminum bell housing we recently welded. The pictures show step by step our process to bring forth the most effective and strongest weld possible.
