Many people have asked me about fashion week in NYC..this past week. .I dont know if sometimes its because I have been in retail for long or that Leighton followed in my fashion career to make a bigger mark in menswear design. All I know is I could never have been more proud of Leighton in knowing his dream and what he wanted to do. Leighton had never been to NY but yet as a child he followed fashion every minute. Leighton sent me so many videos of Fashion week ....he was either modeling, behind the scenes or his favorite place...front row seats. It was one of my favorite memories of NYC when I was to go to a show that Leighton helped with....his internship. I love you Leighton and I miss you dearly. To think what you could have done in the Fashion world....is priceless..... but yet please know what you did do is to show people how to be kind, fearless, embrace the world around you and love one another. That goes far beyond anything and I love you so much for that. I love you. Mom
