Many people want to know the difference between the church of Christ denominations. They are very different according to the doctrine of every church. Today, most churches believe that if we live morally good, we can worship God in any church . This is the big difference between the church of Jesus Christ and other - worship . The reason why we can not worship in any church is because we can not worship in any form. Jesus tells us , God is a Spirit: and they that worship him in spirit and in truth must worship (John 4:24). What do we learn in this verse? You say we can worship God as we want? No! According to Jesus Christ , we must worship in spirit and in truth because that is what God wants . , What does it mean to worship in spirit and truth ? To worship in spirit means to serve God with our spirit. This means that we worship with the inner man , or to worship from the heart, with our spirit. God does not accept worship of the lips, or the body but of the heart . But what does it mean to worship in truth? First, note in the Bible definition of the word truth. Jesus, in a prayer to the Father , said: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth (John 17:17). According to this verse , the word of God is truth . So worship God in truth means worship in accordance with the holy word of Him Jesus tells us , We need to worship in truth (John 4:24).
