Many people wonder about the standards of the house a Muhajir gets in Bilad Al-Sham. I can tell you about my home which I believe most of the Muhajireen here live in a similar home. Our home is very old, the paint on the wall keeps falling everyday, when we first moved it in it was extremely dirty. We dont have a fridge, a microwave, an oven, a washing machine or a shower head. We dont have a bed, a dinning table, or a set of couches. Me and my wife sleep, eat and seat on the floor. Only in the balcony we have some old chairs to chill out on Alhmdulilah. Regardless though its not as bad as it sounds, with time you get use to this life style and you dont really feel like you need the stuff mentioned above.
