Many projectile points are made from extremely colorful lithic material, to the point where one can consider them to be truly works of art.Native American Indians must have been at least a little bit superstitious, in that its reasonable to imagine that a colorful artistic point held its own magic, and would result in good fortune or better luck and success in the hunt. A tiger-stripped clovis from Indiana is a great example for instance:
