Many states are complicit in recycling shredded used rubber tires and putting them where children play You will see below how governments have acted as accomplices in pushing shredded tires in places where children play. - both at the federal and the state level. Tires are extremely hard to get rid of - that is a true problem. There is a used tire for every person living in this country each and every year. EPA is where the buck stops on getting rid of used tires - but the states have to deal with this problem as well. What has been governments solution so far? Grind them up and put them where children play. See below for how the states are giving ground-up rubber tire grants to schools, towns, and anyone else whose grant is accepted by their state.
