Many thanks to Ari for posting what Ive been thinking. Can we please stop with the one sided, either side, rhetoric about Isreal? Can we please? I will make a really complex situation simple. Both. Sides. Suck. One more time. Both sides have blood on their hands. Both sides are at fault. Both sides have done good and horrible things. So first off what Isreal has done is not genocide it is counterproductive bullshit that is not helping the peace process. Genocide would be dropping a neutron bomb on the west bank and Gaza and sending in the army to clean up after. Does Isreal want peace? I know that a majority of the Israelis do, does Isreal? I dont actually think so. Then there is the Palestinian authority, and Hamas. Yep suicide bombers have been shown to really get your point accross and make friends and influence people. It is very simple Isreal will NEVER bow to military pressure. If the Palestinians want to make peace happen then try no violence and sitting accross roads and the wailing wall and everywhere else chanting give peace a chance. I am just really tired of the yo-yo bullshit I keep seeing of everyone either going Isreal is bad! or Palestinians are bad! no really they both suck. Also until you have been hit in the head by a rock when you have been ordered to not shoot back Until you have seen the pilots who break off a bombing run of a known bomb factory 6 times because it is not clear of non combatants Do not presume to say what is genocide Further until you have grown up under military occupation, until you have had your love and freedom completely outside of your control Do not presume to say what is and is not a reasonable response Again both sides suck because the entire situation sucks and no amount of screaming on the Internet is going to change that my fear is that nothing will
