Many thanks to all for the condolences for Docs (my dad) passing. I had two phone calls from folks that I have not seen since high school, as well as, several FB private messages from yet more childhood friends. We had the memorial service for him today. As he wanted, it was truly a memorial with many funny antidotes and stories. I even heard some stories that I didnt know. The entire family, all 29 of us, were in attendance. At a later to be determined date, our family will scatter his ashes in the back yard of his house. Doc loved his home. I heard him say many times, I built this house and I will die in it. While he drew his last breath in Newton at t\he Hospice House, I am sure that he was home in spirit. Bye Doc, I loved you and will miss you.
