Many think organizations like ours are just orgs that want to fight our government and train to take over This is no where near the case and folks really need to understand what we are here for. First we are not anti government, we believe in a smaller government that is restricted and limited by the Constitution. We sure do not want any violent confrontations with our government and we would rather see our Republic return to its foundations as our Founding Fathers framed our Republic. Our members use the power of the vote, and their 1st Amendment rights, and they are willing to protect them if needed, and train to do just that, but we train for much more. Our goals are to help form groups, and grain our citizens to be self reliant, we teach our members how to prepare, respond and survive Natural and man made Disasters, and how they can help their neighbors and communities in times of need. We strongly desire to build relationships with our communities an our elected officials so when we have disasters we are able to help ourselves, families, and our communities. Many people have the idea that when disaster strikes that our State and Local Governments will be able to help us, but the fact is that in a large enough disaster the system will be completely strained so we will have to take care of ourselves and our neighbors until help arrives. During any incident that stresses local Police Fire and EMS we also have the problem of some that feel they can take what others have, so we teach our members defensive tactics so that our groups and members can defend their homes and neighborhoods from thugs. Our members and groups also train in Emergency Communications, First Aid, Wilderness and urban Survival, and Defensive tactics. We believe that we must be ready for anything. We can look at what is going on in the world around us, and what is going on in our state and understand that we must return to the mindset that we as individuals, families and communities must be self sufficient and must be ready to pitch in when the time comes and provide for ourselves, and also be willing to stand for the Constitution and protect all citizens We need good men and women who are ready to learn what they need too, and who have the self discipline and drive to learn and teach the skills that will help them and their families during times of Emergency and Unrest. We need good people that will work hard train hard, build groups and organize those in their areas to take on this important task.
