Many want to know, but most wont ask. So, let me help avoid assumptions and share my heart. This past week has been one of every emotion. Last Thursday, we found out that our little Spot didnt make it and a miscarriage was confirmed. Not only was it very difficult to hear, but even worse to share with the boys and the rest of our family and friends. This weekend, weve spent extra time with the boys and had lots of fun. Weve prayed over this situation and have remembered that God doesnt let us go through ANYTHING without a purpose. We are thankful that I was still in my first trimester, and we didnt know if Spot was a boy or girl yet and we hadnt chosen a name. We hadnt reached that next level of attachment. We have also become aware of so many more of our friends than we realized have gone through this pain. Ive had it on my heart to begin praying for the mother I know Ill soon meet that will be going through a similar experience. I pray Ill have the right words and be useful and comforting to her. We are also even more thankful for our friends. You have prayed for us, reached out to us, and even cooked for us so that we could rest and enjoy time with our boys. God is taking care of us in ways we didnt even know we needed and wouldnt have asked for. He already had people in place for us to lean on. Yes, this is a very difficult experience for us, but we are ok bc we serve a mighty God that has wrapped His arms around us and surrounded us with love. Thank you all who have helped us and will continue to pray for us as this journey continues...unfortunately, its not quite over. This morning at church, pastor Wayne Drain said many words that touched our hearts, but what stuck out to me was a snippet of a conversation that I love! Ive heard it before but today it was just the keep your chin up that I needed. A close friend walked into his office and asked how are ya my friend? He replied ok under the circumstances. And was then asked well what are you doing under there?!. God will keep us above the circumstances. Dont crawl under there. Its not necessary. Nothing is without purpose. We love you all and are ever-so thankful for you and your purpose in our life right now :)
