Many who know me know of my long standing adoration for (and are rolling their eyes about) Bruce Springsteens music. Well, today is his 65th birthday, and it seems like a good opportunity to share my fandom. Im going to try and post some of his best work from throughout his career today, and maybe some of you will hear some great songs you havent heard in awhile, or some that youve never heard. First up is the first song off his first album, Blinded By the Light. Now you probably only know this from the hit version in the 70s by Manfred Mann, but this version Bruce did a few years ago turns the song into a cool, gypsy/ folk stomper. Enjoy!
