Many will say, Ive accepted Jesus Christ into my life I dont need to do anything more. Well, theres a lot more! When Jesus disciples were all killed off, there was no one left that held the Priesthood of God- therefore came the dark ages- but then came time for the Priesthood to be restored to the Prophet Joseph Smith, by the laying on of hands by those who held the priesthood anciently-John the Baptist restored the Aaronic Priesthood, Peter, James John restored the Melchizedek Priesthood, and Moses, Elijah and Elias restored additional priesthood keys, once again Christ church was set up in these latter days, just as it was when He was on the earth, with prophets and apostles! The heavens are not closed! President Thomas S Monson is a true and living prophet for all the world, we have apostles that testify of the divinity of Jesus Christ. I know this to be true by the gift of the Holy Ghost bestowed upon me after my baptism by those in authority of holding the priesthood of God. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and will be forever grateful for His teachings.
