Manzer Thackaberry Memorial A3 Race A few of our lads travelled up to near Nurney in County Kildare on Saturday to contest this A3 race, Hosted by Newbridge CC. The massive entry as always and it saw an 8 man break, which Declan was part of, head up the road after a few kilometres, but after the 6 lap race, they were caught with only 3 kilometres to go. The bunch sprint saw only the pluckiest of riders contesting the honours and Dermot was one of those riders and bagging himself 6th place. RESULTS 1.Darragh Long (NRPT) 2.Brian Reynolds (Lucan CRC) 3.Adam Swirydowicz (Swords CC) 4.Seamus Sinnott (Wexford Wheelers) 5.Barry Talt (Murphy Surveys Kilcullen CC) 6.Dermot Gregan (Slipstream) 7.Tadgh Kelly Dublin Wheelers CC 8.John Hodge (Dungarvan) Brendan was battling it out in the Ned Flanagan Memorial A4 race but despite his best efforts in the bunch sprint, alas, points were not making their way to him this week.
