Man’s body located as inquiries continue into woman’s death – Lithgow: Police investigating the death of a woman at Lithgow overnight have found the body of a man at a property at Wolgan Valley. Emergency services were called to a home in Wrights Road about 8am today (Tuesday 3 June 2014), where they found a woman seriously injured. The 46-year-old died at the scene. While a post mortem will be conducted to determine how the woman died; her death is being treated as suspicious. Detectives from Chifley Local Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation with assistance from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad. A short time ago, investigators attended a property on Wolgan Valley Road, Wolgan Valley, where they located a man’s body. The 54-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious. The investigation continues and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
