Mar 29, 2014 12:34:00 PM A top Ingwe official has questioned the absence of key players - Allan Wanga, Jacob Keli and Abdalah Juma - for todays league match against Top Fry A top AFC Leopards’ official is said to have gone nuts after realizing that several key players will miss Saturday’s league match against Nakuru Top Fry at Mumias Complex. According to a source close to the team who spoke to Goal, the official (name withheld), is not happy that strikers Jacob Keli, Allan Wanga and defender Abdallah Juma will not feature against the promoted side. “We must get an explanation as to why some players are not in camp. We are preparing for a very serious match and it’s unfortunate that they are not around. We need to be informed whether they have absconded duty or not,” ranted the official. The trio did not travel with the team to Mumias with both Wanga and Juma allegedly ruled out due to injury while Keli will miss the fixture owing to ‘lack of match fitness’. Ingwe have won only once since the season started – a 1-0 victory over Sony Sugar – a performance that has not gone down well with club’s followers. In Wanga and Keli’s absence, coach James Nandwa as the opportunity to give Nigerian import Austine Uzoromeke Ikenna is first start for the club. The Nigerian has only featured for Ingwe in Kenya Charity Cup, and is now available for selection after getting work permit. A win will push AFC Leopards’ to sixth position on the log. Wells Fargo will be selling match day tickets at Sh200 and Sh400 for terraces and VIP respectively.
