Marcelo sends greetings to his friends and to those he grew up with, studied and played football in several neighborhoods of the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Marcelo use to live in Catete, and he never forgets his friends, always quoting and acknowledging them during interviews. I love my friend in Catete. It is natural and it was the place Ive lived for many years. But also I have many friends in Rio, in several districts, Orange, Botafogo, Copacabana, and they are special to me. The Brazilian left-back team studied at the Colegio Costa e Silva, in Asuncion Street in Botafogo, with Alex, Filipe Maia, Leozinho, Gaius and Mini Renanzinho. Marcelo used to played futsal with Leozinho for Hellenic futsal club in Long River neighborhood. Then he moved to Fluminense futsal club. I send my message to all of my friends. Im sure there are in Rio de Janeiro cheering for me and for the national team. -
