March 18, 1882 Morgan Earp passed away a few minutes after midnight, on the 18th. He was assassinated by an unknown person who shot him through the window of a locked door at Campbell and Hatchs Saloon in Tombstone, Arizona. He was shot in the back while playing billiards a few minutes before midnight on the 17th. Virgil and James Earp took Morgans body to the home of his parents in Colton, California, for burial. TL
