March 22nd. Is it just me or are some weeks tougher to be positive than others. Dont get me wrong it was a pretty good week and overall I do feel very fortunate. I hit those stretches where there just is not enough time to get everything done. There were some sunny times this week and that felt awesome. I went to Plantasia and looking at all the beautiful flowers and gardens was inspiring. I definitely have Spring fever. Looking forward to being a little less cooped up. I think what is bothering me most this week is that I found out that yet another person I know has fallen victim to the effects of a drunk driver. The first one in December was fatal and remains unresolved. In the second case the driver has been arrested and charged, but my friends had serious injuries and the road to recovery will be long. I am not opposed to drinking, but I am opposed to drinking and driving. I do not understand, how people dont get how dangerous this is. I guess in life we think something is a good idea until something bad happens. Sometimes we are the victims of someone elses bad choices. I think we need to be aware of that and control it where we can. We should never be afraid to speak up whether it is to help or be helped, and we should always be guided by doing the right things, no matter the level of difficulty. I am flashing back to high school and a memory of calling the diving section of the swim meets. In order to win in competitive diving, you need to be able to complete dives with a higher degree of difficulty. Obviously those are the more difficult to do, but you cant win doing the dives everyone can do. So it is probably the degrees of difficulty that challenge us and keep us moving forward in life. I have gotten a little stuck lately, going to use this weekend to get unstuck. Who is with me? It is officially Spring, a season of change, growth, blooms and life. Lets regenerate and revive, blow off those snowflakes and get ready to garden :)
