March 28th 10:00pm: Just got back up from spending time with Rob. When I walked into the room, I noticed that his dinner was still barely touched. I mean, they puree everything, so I get it. But, I picked that plate up and fed him myself. I took advantage of his poor memory and said one more bite? which hed agree to. Then Id promptly scoop another pile of mush with the spoon and put it up to his mouth. I cant get over how adorable and heartbreaking it is that he reminds me of a little baby. Not all the time, for sure. But often. Especially later in the day. I keep myself together most of the time, but tonight he was especially child-like and vulnerable. And it broke my heart and tears did stream. I had to remind him to lean his head back into the pillow. When he did, he let out a little sigh of relief. He has to practice so many things anew. So many things. He fell fast asleep when I brushed his sparse hair with my fingers. And now its time for me. Good night everyone. Goodnight.
