March 7 2014 Aurobindo Tries My Grief; My Sorrow Childs Anger; Childs Pain Spark of Life: Breath. Spark of Life: Breath. The Fathers Will: Christs Love. The Fathers Will: Christs Love. Father, in the name of Christ, Please heal us... Father, in the name of Christ, Please protect us... Father in the name of Christ, Please bless us... Spark of Life: Breath. Such was this mornings attempt to calm the raging guilt and grief and fear and sorrow. The Eastern mystic joins the western romantics in turning evolution into the rosy inexorable ascent to perfection. Life grows transparent in the human adaptation to our own addiction to slavery. One child spoiled by parental weakness managing a life on the border of achievement. Much like Moses standing upon Nebo he sees the Promised Land, making it all the more poignant when those dreams crumble into mediocrity around him. Another child neglected and brow beaten by parents rushes about in displays of gluttonous self destruction as the alleged care givers seek to calm him with narcotics and toys and activities. All too soon, like those before him, the child finds itself in darkness for no one around him labored enough to cure his broken heart. Evolution has replaced the occult magic of religious alchemy for the truth of ADAPTATION is a cross to hard for us to bear, for the child suffering is, indeed, mirroring our own psychosis. The flickering moment of the souls quiet also illuminates the mighty struggle of the human beast. Whatever you wish to call the ineffable within us; be it soul, spirit, intellect, or consciousness; we find ourselves battling within our natures the Truth that we seek to heal with that which wounded us deeply. Peer into the depths of my genetic thread seeking to survive within the changing environment in which it finds itself. From the beginning I am at once the replication of my ancestors while also not being one with them. Many have argued that the pure substance of the child forms in the shape of those around it in order to survive. Others have viewed this process as but the corruption of the delusional battle toward individualization. And, both are right. Gaze into the fathomless depths of the nebulous mystery of personality or soul and find there the yearning to ascend through the natural stream of mutation. Seek the Other does each creature born of female through the search for matching genetic stench; or reflective hints of primal memories; or strange attraction to...something. Genetic threads find themselves searching and discovering and communing with types other than themselves. And struggle mightily to be reborn of water and of spirit. Witness the war within humanity from time immemorial. Engage in the tragic battles loosed through eternity. Enter into communion with another genetic code...Another life form...And begin the battle between the mystery of each seeking redemptive healing as both fight mightily not to cure itself for that retardation is the foundation of its original survival. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself; and has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.(Jn 5:25) Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment. I can do nothing on my own authority, as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.(Jn 5:26-30) We again enter into the flickering moment of quiet. In that dark cloud we witness The Mystery of Divine Creation reflected in human creativity. Some will follow faithfully and sincerely the doctrines of Assembly of Saints. Others will look upon Scripture with mocking cynicism. We follow the relentless Will of Nature while yearning desperately for the Love of The Only Begotten Son. You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.(Ex 20:5) For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself; and has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.(Jn 5:25) Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment. I can do nothing on my own authority, as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.(Jn 5:26-30) Behold the terrible mystery that Scripture and life unveil to those who seek sincerely. Hear the dark beginnings of pre-destination. Feel the horrific fatalism of Evolution. Find within the minds of humanity the rebirth of the Redemption of Will. The inexorable guide of The Law forever seemed to come up short in the search for the Promised Land. The agony of the Crucifixion of The Only Begotten Child in the Temple Jerusalem sought relief in the Dawn of the Incarnation that soon morphed into its own concrete Law. The inefficiency of nature was softened by the narcotic of the romance of the evolution to perfection against whose unrelenting flow stood the Freudian and Nietzschean Will. Interestingly, both somehow found insanity; of their own models; the answer. Gaze, then, into the mystery of the Divine attribute of creating in our own likeness, after our own image, the Cross like weight of that Grace Accountable. I can do nothing on my own authority, as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.(Jn 5:26-30) Enter into the uncontrollable despair of existential judgment. We are mysteriously brought into the Garden that offers us flowing waters from beneath the dusty rocks and manna miraculously given to us. Angels flow in and out of our lives illuminating our wondrously loving strengths as well as our pathetically evil and self absorbed weaknesses. You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.(Ex 20:5) I can do nothing on my own authority, as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.(Jn 5:26-30) What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?(Lk 11:11) Even here we are faced with the terrifying uncertainty of mystery...Few are the guardians knowingly offering their offspring serpents and scorpions? The materialist deludes itself when it embraces the magical amoralism of Nature. The Spiritualist bows to the surrender of the pain leading to heaven. Look into the living breathing miracle of your own life. Search there for that flickering moment of Truth and find the Voice that may call you from the Tomb. The secularist has all but destroyed the image of judgment for the amoralism of the beast. The Spiritualist has all but blasphemed the Spirit in the infantile hope of unearned Salvation. Look into the depths of the soul of your life and see there the blinding radiance of the Way and the Life and The Truth. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?(Lk 11:11) If I bear witness to myself, my testimony is not true; there is another who bears witness to me, and I know that testimony is true.(Jn 5:31) The secularist hides in the opiate that there is no good or evil. The spiritualist finds comforts in the narcotic that they themselves are saved. And, both flee from the Truth that Existence itself is judgment and the Son of God radiates the incandescent light showing us the Truth in the Garden. Does, this have anything to do with the History of Salvation...I dont know... Does this illuminate, in any way, the mysterious labors of objective Life...I dont know... If only... If only... I can do nothing on my own authority, as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.(Jn 5:26-30) If I bear witness to myself, my testimony is not true; there is another who bears witness to me, and I know that testimony is true.(Jn 5:31) What is within us draws us into the Garden to discover the magnificent Presence out there that shines on us to find truly what is within us.
