Marcus Barone I want to express my sad condolences and gods blessings to my good friend and colleague FRANK SACCO who passed away Christmas morning. Frank was the first editor and music supervisor who taught me, a novice, about film music. (RING OF THE MUSKETEERS (Columbia Tristar 1992) He was the kindest and most patient mentor that a cocky upstart like me could have been blessed with. It was a miracle for me to be working with, for the first time, someone who listened ...and cared for a new composer, eventually Music Supervisor. He really respected new talent...He knew how to spot, how to lay out dramatic beats in dialog and how to not go over the top..which I always did. Im sure all that worked with him, and the successful creative offspring they generated, can attest to his contributions as well. Ill miss our adventures together Frank . God bless you my first teacher.
