Mardaani strikes a evocative chord in the middle class - one that is crippled by fear, angst and agitation. Rani Mukherjee whips up a frenzied response as a police inspector with her flawless acts of valor and audacity that bust a human trafficking racket, save teenage girls from being pushed into prostitution. Pradeep Sarkar serves the same good-over-evil story in a new cover - quite successfully. I give it a four out of five - paisa vasool.
