**Marge Wilson** My sister-in-law was visiting me for a few days and left to go back home to Bronkhorstspruit at 11.00am today. She was stopped in a so called Metro Police road block - 15 kms from her home. Four cops surrounded her car to do a car check. They then told her that her brake light was out and the car was unroadworthy. She apologised. saying she was not aware but as she was near home, she would get it seen to. The cops turned aggressive and threatened to impound her car. They gave her a fine for R1500 for the brake-light, while one of the others yanked the passenger door open, grabbed her purse, removed all the cash from her purse. She politely asked for a receipt for the R500 cash that they had taken and she was grabbed by the arm and asked do you want to go to jail! She is a pensioner and the R500 they stole was the last bit of money she had. She is going to go to the public prosecutor to see if he can help but I doubt whether he will. What makes these animals think that they have the right to do this and we are supposed to respect cops! They are as bad as the cANCer that runs this country!
