Marietta Main Street Invites Community to Downtown Revitalization Session Designed to assist those interested in the revitalization of downtown Marietta, a special training session will be presented Marietta Main Street and Heritage Ohio next Friday, February 7, at Austyn’s Restaurant, 130 Front Street. Main Street director Jean G. Farmer emphasizes that this workshop is not just for those already involved in the program… “The whole public is invited – anyone who is interested in downtown revitalization should come down and check this out. We’ll be talking about the basic four-point approach, which is what Main Street America has been using for 30 years. It’s been proven as a successful way to revitalize a downtown.” Farmer explains who’s putting on this training session for downtown revitalization… Heritage Ohio puts this on for us, and that’s one of the benefits we have from becoming a Main Street community.
