Marina Pepper has been deselected as CW candidate for Chingford. One of CWs core policies has been the immediate abolition of public schools under the fairly unambiguous slogan we will smash segregated education with an iron fist. Yet in a quite mindboggling moment we discover that Marina is intending for her daughter to attend Roedean school next year. When asked how she could possibly square this with CWs policies she replied It wont matter itll be in October after the election. For hypocrisy amongst political candidates in the forthcoming election this will be hard to beat. Not exactly the new honest politics is it?
