Marine Engineer Jobs in Canada Integrated Technical Service (ITS) Engineer Personnel employed within the Integrated Technical Services Directorate work on the development and construction of new small Canadian Coast Guard vessels and are responsible for the life-cycle management of existing vessels and marine and shore-based assets, such as communications towers, bases, CCG stations, etc. As an Engineer with the organization, your work will consist of designing and delivering marine systems through hull, mechanical, electrical, electronic communications and navigation, or other integrated logistic support. Engineers are responsible for ensuring that the Canadian Coast Guard fleet is supported efficiently and effectively as well as ensuring that the land-based assets such as towers and other structures, telecommunications, navigation and computer systems are well designed and supported. The positions include a mix of office and field work. Our Engineers travel to work sites to inspect construction and installation projects and perform quality assurance of our vessels and sites.
