Marion Book also seemed to imply that if youre not having troubles, you might not be growing in your walk with Christ... but if you have too many troubles, you also may not be growing. Confusing. I gathered its all in how youre facing those troubles, and for whose glory you seek thru them. So many seem bent on convincing me they dont have any troubles, as if living as a Christian is just one big party where we ignore pain, and deny weakness. Tell that to the early disciples. Didnt it say, Christ uses the weak things of this world to show His strength thru us? Didnt Paul thank God for trials and hardship? Why then would we want to hide struggle and sin! We also have freedom so we have joy too, but isnt it a balance of the two?
