Marisela and I spent the day in Weimar at a retreat for women. It was so well organized, put together and beautiful. I got to spend some time with my childhood friend, Ileene. Its been over 20 years since we had seen each other. Ever seen someone from your past and when your hugged them your heart was just so full you cried? That is how it was for me with Ileene. We had such a great time with so many beautiful and wonderful Christian women. We can hardly wait for the one next year. It was six hours of teachings on Joy with singing praise and having prayers. It was just lovely. On our way home something flew out of a trailer going about 100 miles an hour. We arent sure what it was. It looked like some kind of rectangular door made out of metal. It looked like it was about 4 inches thick. It hit the windshield and then the roof of the car. The impact was incredible as we saw it hit. Glass splattered all over us. We called the police. They were unable to find the vehicle. The officer who helped us told us we were very lucky. He said if it had hit two inches lower, it would have killed us both. We still had our joy. Deep in our hearts. Deep in our hearts. Find your joy in whatever you do, wherever you go, whatever may happen. Thank you for the inspirational event, Ileene Dillard and Spirituality in Sisters. I know that every lady there loved it as much as Marisela and I did. Thank you Diana Diaz for coming to the Hospital and bringing your mom and staying with us and bringing us home. Love you both!
