(Mark 4:27 NKJV) "And should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how." The seed time and harvest concept is the most important principle in the scriptures. It is the foundational concept on which other biblical practices are based. Once you have a good grasp of it, it is easy to walk in kingdom results; you tend to sow good seeds and avoid sowing bad ones in order to get the right results. The amazing thing, however, is the mystery behind this principle. It is difficult for the human mind to comprehend. Once you put your seed underneath the earth, the rest of the process happens by itself. The scripture actually says that the earth brings forth of itself. There is no need to figure out in your mind how your harvest is going to come. It works automatically. All God is asking you to do is plant His Word, which is the main seed, in your heart by faith. Then trust Him for the rest of the process. He is the God of the harvest. Paul might do the planting while Apollos the watering, according to 1 Corinthians 3:6, but God is the one that brings the increase. The system will always work because God is the Lord of your harvest.
