Mark D. Rogers Jr., 31, of Tampa, Florida Passed away on March 26, 2014 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident. Mark was born on May 15, 1982 in San Angelo, Texas to his parents Mark Sr. and Betty. A native of Tampa from a young age, Mark was passionate about outdoor life in Florida. Mark adored the water, attending Miami Hurricane games, playing basketball, and most sun-filled activities. Mark enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. Mark had a heart that fit his frame and a larger than life personality. His smile was inspiring and will never be matched. Mark had dedicated his life to his family, his close friends, and to the hospitality industry that he loved so much. Mark was predeceased by his father Mark Rogers Sr. and his Uncle Paul Kessock. He is survived by his mother, Betty Niemi; and her husband Michael, of Tampa, FL; his twin brother Michael Rogers, and Jessica Ewbank of Atlanta, GA; his sister Heather Maki, and husband Whit, of North Haven, CT.; along with numerous family members, countless friends, and loved ones. There will be a visitation at Blount and Curry Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 3pm until 6pm. Marks Memorial Service will be held at St. Patricks Catholic Church, at 4518 S Manhattan Ave, Tampa on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10:30am. All friends, family, and loved ones are invited to continue to celebrate Marks life at Blue Martini Lounge (International Plaza) for lunch on Monday immediately following Mass Services.
